Winter Sipper Cocktail, with Christmas Edinburgh Gin

Who needs brandy with this warming winter gin cocktail?  Perfect for dark nights spent by the fire, this tempting tipple is a real cracker from Edinburgh Gin.

Based on the Scottish distillery’s popular Christmas Gin, which comes in a stunning art deco style bottle, it’s the perfect base for any gin cocktail.

For this Winter Sipper, the added Frankincense and Myrrh in the gin is the perfect companion to the honey and spice in the Chartreuse Jaune and the herbal spiciness of the Benedictine D.O.M.

Drambuie brings a final hit of honey and the warming familiarity of whisky liqueur to the mix.

Simply garnish with an orange twist, sit back and admire this stunning amber jewel in a glass.

Ingredients

25ml Christmas Edinburgh Gin

20ml Chartreuse Jaune

15ml Benedictine D.O.M.

1 dash Drambuie

1 dash bitters

Method

  1. Stir all ingredients together in a mixing glass. Strain into a brandy glass over ice.
  2. Garnish with an orange twist.
