As Christmas shopping takes its toll we wouldn’t blame you if you are need of some serious pampering.

That is why we are delighted to learn that the UK’s first ever gin spa will open early next month in Glasgow’s Merchant City.

The brains behind the multi award-winning Gin71 bars will harness the very best botanicals from the Scottish craft gin movement to create the foundation of many of their treatments.

What could be more amazing for any gin lover than to be treated with a range of gin-inspired spa products? We’ve most certainly heard of gin beauty products so this seems like a match made in heaven.

Founder of Just Be Botanicals and Aromatherapist Gail Bryden will create the bespoke treatments, while even more gin-spiration will be found in the relaxation areas.

Guests can expect a full range of pedicure and manicure options while choosing a refreshing gin cocktail from a specially designed menu. A complimentary gin and tonic trolley will also be available.

As if this wasn’t exciting enough, The Gin Spa will also be pairing with both Gin71 and its sister business Cup Tea Rooms. This means, gin friends, we can expect a whole host of gin afternoon teas and experiences to add to our bucket list. December just cannot come quick enough.

If, like us, you simply can’t wait to hear more news, Gin71 have launched a new website for the spa which includes a mailing list.
