Fans of British distilled gin might already be familiar with Pothecary Gin. Made in Dorset by Soapbox Spirits, the gin has a distinctly floral character. Lavender, Anatolian mulberries and tilia flowers from Poland combine to create a unique gin.
Only now the distillers have announced a new limited edition bottle which will transport you to a tropical rainforest. Introducing Thai Blend Gin, an exotic sounding gin we simply can’t wait to try.
Pothecary have complimented the floral notes of their gin with the earthiness of fresh turmeric, coriander leaf, and ginger spice. It’s the hints of tropical fruit, however, that really have us excited.
Thai Blend also includes notes of lime, coconut, pineapple and mango. We picture garnishing this gin with a slice of mango or lime and sipping it over ice.
As the original Pothecary gin won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Awards, we have high hopes for a truly delicious G&T in our glass.
Admittedly, we have been fawning over the gorgeous bottle design already. With its striking green colour and elephant branding, it looks a little like a prop from The Wizard of Oz.
We can’t help but think of Ophir’s oriental design when we clap eyes on this beauty.
If you too have fallen in love, the good news is you can pre-order now over on the Gin Kiosk website for £49.
The gin will officially become available from other stockists from 12 February. Plenty of time then to stock up on your exotic fruits. Mmm… Mango or lime?
Pothecary Thai Blend, £49, is available for pre-order now from the Gin Kiosk website.
