Gin lovers, the fox is well and truly back. Firkin have announced a brand new Old Tom Gin that is bound to knock your socks off with flavour.
Featuring notes of vanilla and berry, this top cat is a modern interpretation on a classic gin style. If you enjoy a London Dry but like it a little sweeter, this could be for you.
Simply serve neat over ice or with your favourite tonic water to really bring out the flavour, then garnish with a large wedge of orange.
This gin is sweet on the nose, with herbaceous notes of cassia and coriander opening up after a minute or two.
Meanwhile, expect a honeyed sweetness to the taste with a little citrus zest.
We imagine kicking back against our finest gentlemen’s chair with this little gem in hand. There’s no better Friday than a #FirkinFriday so pull up a chair, pour yourself this gin and keep it classy.
This label oozes serious sophistication. We love the film noir-like quality of the bottle’s front, complimented by the touch of gold.
Originally a distiller of whisky, Firkin branched out into gin in 2014 and thus the award-winning Try Me Naked Dry Gin was created.
Made in small batches, the company aims to bring its unique mix of bourbon and gin together to create modern spirits with serious attitude.
We’ll drink to that.
Firkin Old Tom Gin is available now for 500ml for £25 from Gleann Mor Spirits Company.
