Dream job alert: Sipsmith is looking for student gin ambassadors


If you’re anything like us, we imagine your dream job is something along the lines of drink gin/talk about gin. Repeat.

The amazing news is this isn’t a fantasy; you can genuinely get paid to do this. Called a ‘Gin Ambassador’, the role is often about raising the profile of a gin brand.

Amazing, but how does one go about getting experience for such a job? Well, Sipsmith are now hiring for student brand ambassadors to help them spread the word about their top tipple.

If you love gin and you love Sipsmith, get your application at the ready. Here’s a rundown of the official duties.

Essentially, your job will be to share your love of Sipsmith with your peers. You’ll be a credible expert in all things Sipsmith and champion the brand by leading gin-focused activities.

If you’ve always fancied arranging events, there’s an opportunity to organise charity balls and support the events team at pop-up events and gin samplings.

Sipsmith’s pop-up events have included a hot gin cocktail experience.

Digital gurus – spread the world by sharing your passion with social media and local gin societies alike.

Well-known for their London Dry Gin, the distillery also have their very own innovative gin society. Most recently, the brand released Popcorn Gin and have brought a hot cocktail pop-up experience to London.

The closing date for entries is Friday 9 June, with interview dates up until July.

The start date for the opportunity is Monday 17 September and includes a training date in London on Friday 17 August.
