Non-Irish readers, we’re sorry about this.

It’s true that Aldi is launching a pink gin, but strictly for its Irish shops.

So rejoice, Aldi Ireland shoppers! Boyle’s Raspberry Blush Gin is out May 31. Distilled by Blackwater Distillery, this gorgeous pink gin is made of juniper, pink peppercorns, star anise, coriander, orange peel and garden mint.

The new Aldi pink gin is actually a new version of their Boyle’s Gin.

Blackwater have put their best work behind this limited edition gin. All the bottles of Boyle’s Raspberry Blush Gin are well and truly gone when they’re gone.

The distiller tweeted: “Real raspberries, craft distilled, tactile spot varnish label; we’ve spared no expense. And when we say Limited Edition, we mean it. All stock has been shipped. The well is dry.”

To make this summery gin, Blackwater first distilled the raspberries separately from the other  botanicals to extract our every bit of flavour. The raspberry essence was then blended with the rest of the mix before bottling.

Boyle’s Raspberry Blush Gin by Aldi Ireland launches Thursday 31 May. Check back here for further details and pricing!
