Red Door is the newest gin from the Scottish Highlands

If you simply can’t get enough of Scottish gin, then you’re going to love this latest release from Benromach Distillery in Forres.

Red Door Gin is a small-batch, handcrafted London Dry style gin that’s fittingly named after the distillery’s distinctive red doors.

We love the unique red bottle that’s bound to take pride of place in any gin lover’s collection, complete with botanical illustration.

As this gin is inspired by Scotland’s mountains, forests and coastal fringes, expect a list of ingredients that will take you straight to the Highlands.

This gin features aromatic sea buckthorn, floral pearls of heather and chocolatey rowanberries all handmade in a copper pot still, affectionately named ‘Peggy’.

Eight botanicals in total combine to create a smooth tipple that would be perfect for your next G&T, Negroni or Martini alike.

However, that’s not all you can expect from the distillery.

As well as this brand new tipple, gin lovers will also have the opportunity to peek behind the red door with the creation of a visitor experience.

This new attraction will tell the story of Red Door Gin and the personalities who craft it.

Visitors will hear the story of Red Door Gin’s handmade copper still, learning about how the distillers create each batch. You can also discover the secrets behind creating “perfect serves”.

Benromach Distillery is already one of the most popular visitor attractions in Forres, but it is hoped that this new gin and visitor experience will draw an additional 10,000 visitors per year.

We can’t wait to try it!

Red Door Gin (45% ABV) is available from all quality specialist retailers with a RRP of £30.
