It goes without saying that pink gin has proved pretty popular. We’ve seen big and small gin distilleries alike release a few of their very own versions.
In this year alone, you can now pick up a Beefeater Pink or a Hoxton Pink Gin. There’s also been a few Scottish pink gin releases: Edinburgh-based Firkin gin added a strawberry gin to their line-up while Kinrara Gin from the Highlands launched Hibiscus Gin.
Now, however, there’s a new kid on the block. Straight from another Scottish favourite, Kintyre have announced the launch of their own pink gin.
The distillery behind Kintyre, Beinn An Tuirc, has been showcasing some seriously stunning labelling:

This new pink gin will feature a classy black and gold design, showing us just why they’ve been nominated for ‘Excellence in Branding’ over at this year’s Scottish Gin Awards. It’s also indicated to be 40% alcohol volume.
Some may perceive pink gin as being a soft choice in the drinks industry but it would be wise to reconsider. Pink gin can actually be just as, if not more, potent than their standard counterparts. It’s gin liqueurs that are typically 20% ABV.
As for this release, we’ve yet to receive a date but it’s unlikely to be in this month according to social sources.
Watch this space, as they say!
