With glorious heatwave spells cropping up almost weekly, you might think you’ve seen everything summer has to offer. What could possibly be better than enjoying a cheeky G&T in the sunshine?

Answer: Edinburgh-based bar 56 North have only gone and created their very own Flor de Sevilla slushie machine, that’s what.

If you’re eager for a suitable refreshment in the heat, this special gin event will bring you your favourite orange-y G&T in ice form.

With Sevilla’s recent appearance on Wetherspoons’ menu, plus its frequent #1 position on Amazon’s best sellers list, we think this will be rather popular.

You’ve sampled the fine delights of Edinburgh Gin as an ice slushie, now try the ultimate summer citrus treat.

Flor de Sevilla has been a popular addition to the Tanqueray range

The Tanqueray Secret Gin Garden has been created by 56 North for the duration of the Festival Fringe.

An annual event based in the Scottish capital, the Festival Fringe is the largest arts event in the world. In other words, you’re sure to find more than enough to occupy your time come August.

This newest event will run from August 1-27, serving up a delicious cocktail menu, cakes and sweet treats. There’s also an opportunity to attend a BBQ on Friday/Saturday nights or take in a masterclass or tasting event.

Best of all, the gin garden comes with its very own Tanqueray gin menu. No need to book: just pop along in-between your chosen festival show for the perfect way to while away the hours.

Sounds absolute bliss!

The Tanqueray Secret Gin Garden will run from August 1-27 at 56 North, 2 West Crosscauseway, Edinburgh. For more information see the 56 North website and Facebook.
