It’s sure to raise its fair share of eyebrows this season but meet the latest addition to Firebox’s successful ‘Tears’ line. Pixie Tears has arrived and you might be feeling magical… or pretty confused.
Undoubtedly, one of this year’s biggest trends in gin has been shimmer gin. That is gin that’s been enhanced to produce an eye-catching swirl of glitter in a glass. Perfect for a fun cocktail at the bar but maybe not so inspiring for gin lovers who feel passionate about the quality in their glass.
One thing’s for certain: it’s been the most successful alcohol line in the gift company’s 20-year history.
This newest product takes the same idea as the company’s trademark Unicorn Tears Gin. It’s a fun and funky gift that is sure to raise a smile.
This time around, however, the gin is based on elderflower and cucumber. We’ve got to say it does look pretty eye-catching in a glass with its associated floral garnish.
It may not be claiming a spot on our best gins of the year list, but it’s sure to do a great job at a party.
Last year, fellow gifts company Moonpig released an ‘Evil Spirits gin’ with a similar emerald colouring.
One of the most interesting aspects of Pixie Tears is that it’s GREEN in colour. With Halloween coming up, it’s a no-brainer that this gin could be a spectacular way to create a swirling green gin punch.
Alongside these spook-tacular Halloween gin picks, Pixie Tears might just be the perfect way to create a wicked brew or two!
Firebox Pixie Tears Gin is sold via the John Lewis website for £40.
