As soon as autumn arrives, you know it’s spiced gin season. This time around, Aldi has revealed they’re launching their first ever Gingerbread Gin Liqueur and it’s just in time for the festive season.
Available in stores and online from October 1, this tantalising treat takes our Christmas favourite and gives it a delightful alcoholic twist.
You’ll most definitely want to pop this one your next Instagram post: who doesn’t love an innovative alternative to the traditional festive tipple?
Great news, however, is it’s as equally tempting in taste as it is in looks.
Expect warming notes of ginger, cinnamon, vanilla and orange in your glass, best enjoyed with a splash of tonic water. Alternatively, simply serve neat over ice.
It even comes with a brilliant price tag of £9.99. Given the popularity of the supermarket’s previous gin liqueurs, we reckon these will sell quickly.
In fact, 12,500 bottles of gin now fly off the supermarket’s shelves daily – equating to over 500 bottles per hour!
If you recognise the name The Infusionist, that’s because the chain recently launched a Passionfruit Gin Liqueur of the same name in the summer, which sold out in TWO DAYS.
If you weren’t lucky enough to snag yourself a bottle, good news is Aldi have also announced its return on October 1, alongside Oliver Cromwell Pink Gin (£10.99).
Meanwhile, the supermarket will also increase its gin offering by 60% this autumn, bringing you even more new gins to enjoy.
This season, you’ll also be able to taste Spiced Plum and Clementine Gin, Sorgin and Mason’s Gin to name a few!
