We count ourselves pretty lucky here at The Gin Kin. Spending our days writing about the very best tipples around is a hard job but someone has to do it.
Yet, there’s one job we might consider if we had the chance. Isle of Harris Gin is looking for a gin ambassador and we’re seriously considering moving.
It always helps to know a little about the company you’re applying for so let us help. Isle of Harris is a darn delicious gin and we implore you to think about this opportunity immediately.
Ok, so let’s be more specific. The job of a gin brand ambassador is generally to raise the profile or create demand for a gin. In this case, the job entails building partnerships with bars, restaurants and hotels. You’ll also get to be creative and be actively involved with events.
We were kind of hoping it would involve sampling as much gin as humanly possible, but we reckon we could definitely settle for talking about just how fabulous Isle of Harris Gin is.
In fact, we say researching your role should most definitely include a nip over to our Isle of Harris Gin review.
Candidates for this job must be “extremely self-motivated and organised with an ability to work alone on a daily basis.”
Naturally, any applicant should be knowledgeable about gin and have a strong understanding of the ‘on-trade environment.’ We have to wonder if that means having a strong relationship with your local gin bar… If so, we could have this one down.
If you too are feeling like a suitable candidate, you can read the job ad in full here. Just remember the closing date is October 12 so start prepping your CV now.
