If you cast your mind back to May, you might recall that not only was Royal Wedding fever in the air but a special gin was in the works.
Bloom announced they would release a limited edition Lemon & Elderflower gin if they received 100,000 likes over on Instagram.
The eventual total turned out to be 13,211 but that didn’t stop the distillery getting into the spirit of things. The elderflower addition will become available, with one very subtle difference.
This new gin is actually a gin liqueur – surprise!
Based on the flavours of the Royal Wedding cake, this light and fruity combination of lemon and elderflower is sure to go down well with your fizz.
In keeping with the brand’s sophisticated style, the key serve for Lemon & Elderflower is in a flute, topped up with a premium quality sparkling wine, making it ideal for celebratory occasions.
The wedding cake is to be served at the Reception. It was designed by Claire Ptak and features elderflower syrup made at The Queen’s residence in Sandringham from the estate’s own elderflower trees, as well as a light sponge cake uniquely formulated for the couple. #royalwedding pic.twitter.com/kt5lE4tEn9

Of course, gin liqueurs have only been growing in popularity due to their versatility, low alcohol content and appealing, wide variety of flavour.
You may have formerly created an elderflower gin cocktail from Bloom Gin, lemon juice, elderflower cordial and Prosecco. Now you can simply pop this liqueur into your champagne and go!
Created by Master Distiller, Joanne Moore herself, the new addition balances the two flavours whilst retaining the brand’s trademark smoothness.
You can even pick it up as a gift pack if you’d like, containing both a 70cl bottle and a branded flute.
As part of a partnership with Freixenet, a duo gift pack including miniature bottles of both Bloom Lemon & Elderflower and Freixenet cava will also be available.
