The festive period is that time of the year when you indulge in everything you know is not good for you, but makes you feel good nonetheless.

It is the time of year when you can’t help yourself.

For gin and chocolate lovers something is coming to add to your daily indlugences during the countdown to Christmas – a gin and chocolate advent calendar.

Yes, you heard us correctly.

Craft56° and Sugarsnap Chocolate and Confectionery have teamed up to bring an advent calendar you will not be able to put down.

Scottish-based gin merchants Craft56° and luxury chocolate makers Sugarsnap Chocolate & Confectionery are launching a new advent calendar that features chocolates infused with gin for the looming festive season.

Craft56°, which was launched by Glaswegian Ally Hardy in 2017, is teaming up with fellow Glasgow entrepreneur Annette Smith, founder of Sugarsnap, to create a unique advent calendar that will treat gin and chocolate lovers alike.

Each advent calendar is priced at £36.50 and will feature a range of stunning gin infused chocolates to help you with your countdown to Christmas day.

What is inside?

The innovative new product pairs white, milk and dark chocolate with Scottish gin to produce a range of beautiful handmade bon bons with alcohol-infused ganache fillings.

Each advent calendar will have at least 12 different flavours and features brands including Makar, UWA Tequila, McLean’s Gin, Sugar House Rum & many more.

Hardy said on the partnership: “We’re excited to launch our advent calendar as it’s perfect for everyone who loves a quality chocolate as much as they enjoy a Christmas tipple.

The calendar also helps to showcase the amazing brands and versatility of the products we work with.”

The Craft56° x Sugarsnap Luxury Artisan Chocolate Advent Calendar are available to pre-order online for £36.50 from Craft56°
