In Scotland, sticky toffee pudding is as much a staple of everyday life as drinking water and breathing.
So it is with little surprise that Solway Spirits, the distillers behind sweet juniper delights featuring rhubarb crumble, apple caramel and cortes have combined the delicious British dessert with the nation’s favourite alcoholic tipple.
The Dumfries and Galloway-based distillers have produced a Sticky Toffee Gin that every gin lover with a sweet tooth will be unable to resist.
The small batch craft distillery located on the majestic Solway Coast in South West Scotland, uses British suppliers for the highest quality ingredients to produce all of their gin flavours.
Juniper, coriander, orris root, angelica, orange peel, liquorice root and a number of other locally foraged ingredients are infused with caramelised raisins, pine and a hint of floral angelica to achieve the familiar taste of sticky toffee pudding.
The Scottish distillery use a rectification column to make the spirit wonderfully smooth before cooling it through the condenser to make this silky, sweet elixir of gin delight.
As a true micro distillery, Solway produces just fifty bottles in one batch, which are bottled and labeled by hand to guarantee each customer receives the finest quality spirit.
