Flavoured gin has been making headlines in the gin scene lately and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down any time soon. We’ve had our eye on Mrs Cuthbert’s gin for their quirky gin flavours and we’re glad to let you know that they have some new additions to their range.
We were delighted to find out about their Parma Violet Cupcake flavour, especially with the recent trend of violet gin. That’s right it’s not all about pink gin!
In terms of taste, Mrs Cuthbert’s Parma Violet Cupcake gin is infused with hints of parma violet and a touch of vanilla. The distiller suggests that you mix it with your favourite tonic or with a glass of Prosecco to make the best out of the flavour. Why not add some ice for a refreshing touch?
Mrs Cuthbert’s gin range extends to other flavours as well. Namely, Lemon Drizzle Cake, Rhubarb & Custard Crumble, Victoria Sponge Cake, Black Forest Gateau and Blueberry Muffin (yum!). With all these traditional British Gin Liqueur classics, the brand aims to ignite those nostalgic memories of your fave cakes.
It is worth noting that these gins are classified as “liquers”, which means that they have lower alcohol at 20% ABV – half of what an average spirit contains. BUT, they are also lower in sugar which makes them the ideal alternative to the usual gin and tonic (minus the calories, yay).
Sounds like this would be the ideal tipple to enjoy on a weekday without having to worry about not feeling 100% the next morning.
