Gingerbread Gin Liqueur becomes the latest addition to the cult favourite Hortus range – and it only costs £9.99.
The latest addition to Lidl’s Hortus gin range sees spicy ginger notes combined with warming cinnamon – the perfect base from which to create a cocktail to honour the nation’s best loved Spice Girl.
With Spice Girls fever returning to spice up everyone’s lives this winter in London, Lidl is launching a new addition to the cult favourite Hortus gin range, Gingerbread Gin Liqueur, complete with a specially-created Ginger Spiced cocktail recipe.
To really inject a bit of ‘zigazig-ah’ into your drinks, Lidl’s Spirits Expert, Tristan Stephenson, has created a cocktail that sees three become one; a delicious blend of espresso coffee, Hortus Gingerbread Gin Liqueur and a cheeky splash of single cream.
The Perfect Serve
- Ginger Spiced Cocktail (1 serving)
- 40ml Hortus Gingerbread Gin Liqueur
- 15ml espresso
- Single cream
- Cocoa Powder for dusting
Combine the gingerbread liqueur, coffee and cream in a cocktail shaker along with plenty of ice. Shake together, and then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a dusting of cocoa powder and serve immediately.
Lidl’s Hortus Gingerbread Gin Liqueur will be available in store next week – Say You’ll Be There!
