Already thinking about warmer times and looking forward to gin festivals in the summer? What if we told you that your wait is soon to come to an end?
You can enjoy your favourite G&Ts as well as experiment with tipples you haven’t tried before at this 18-day celebration of all things gin.
The much anticipated Wetherspooons Gin Festival is back and luckily it’s to start earlier than last year, on the 14th of February going all the way till 3rd of March.
If you’re not familiar with this festival, the idea is to offer 15 gins which have not been available in pubs before. The event is to take place at 10 pubs around Britain including The High Cross in High Street, The Last Plantagenet in Granby Street, The White House in Scraptoft Lane, The Corn Exchange in Market Place as well as other pubs in Leicestershire.
Regarding all you flavoured gin lovers, you’ll be delighted to know that there will also be a number of flavoured gins among the selection.
Some of the gin brands to be featured in the event are: Aber Falls, Orange marmalade Gin, Adnams Coper House Pink Gin, Didsbury Gin Raspberry & Elderflower, Eden Mill Love Gin Liqueur, Greenall’s Wild Berry Gin and The Lakes Damson Gin Liqueur.
The Last Plantagenet manager, Lisa Townsend, said: “The festival will showcase some wonderful gins from across Britain.”
Great value and varied gin selection? Sounds like exactly what we need to keep warm and snug in the winter months.
