If you make part of Graham Norton’s loyal fan audience as well as of our gin lovers’ community, today is your lucky day.
The Irish TV presenter and multiple Bafta winner has announced the release of his very own Irish gin – GN.
Norton has joined forces with Irish wine and spirit company Barry & Fitzwilliam (with whom he’s launched award winning GN wine range) to launch Graham Norton’s Own Irish Gin.
Distilled and produced using 100% Irish grain, Graham Norton’s Own Irish Gin draws its flavour from a combination of 12 botanicals including lemon peel, orange peel, elderflower, rose hip, and fuchsia flowers.
Tim Lightbourne, of Invivo (Graham Norton wine collaborators) said: “It all started in London in July last year. We were working with Graham on this year’s wine blends. At the end of a three-hour tasting and blending session, someone suggested we celebrate with a round of martinis. It was over the martinis that Graham introduced the idea of an Irish gin and a plan was born to create one.”
It looks like the talk show host has also released a pink version of this tipple making this year his booziest year yet.
Just in time for Mother’s Day this tipple includes 12 botanicals such as lemon peel, orange peel, elderflower, rose hip, gooseberries and fuchsia flowers.
On why his gin would make the perfect gift for Mother’s Day, Graham Norton said: “Why bore the woman you love the most with chocolates, when you can wow her with a bottle of my own Pink Gin”.
GN gin is available exclusively in SuperValu stores across Ireland while the newest Pink Gin version will be available exclusively at Tesco stores for £29 (40% ABV, 70 cl).
