Every year thousands of visitors come to experience the unique character of Plymouth Gin Distillery and sample their acclaimed gin.

 

The tour options include a classic Plymouth Gin Distillery Tour, an enhanced Gin Connoisseur’s Tour with dedicated tasting of a number of gins (and not just our own) and a much-appreciated opportunity to actually distil your own gin with the guest taking responsibility for selecting their botanical recipe and creating the final gin during The Master Distiller’s Tour.

The Plymouth Gin Distillery Tour

This tour involves a fascinating overview of the history of the Distillery as well as an introduction to the Plymouth Gin distillation process and the botanicals which are used.

Visitors also participate in a short tutored tasting of Plymouth Gin Original and Plymouth Sloe Gin.

Tours are subject to availability with a maximum number of 20 people on the Plymouth Gin Distillery Tour – cost £8.50 / duration 40 minutes. 

The Gin Connoisseur’s Tour

The tour provides an overview of the history of the Distillery, the botanicals that are used and the distillation process (as per the Plymouth Gin Distillery Tour) as well as unique opportunity to an in-depth blind tasting of 5 gins, to compare the different styles and tastes of these gins.

Tours are subject to availability with a maximum number of 12 people on the Gin Connoisseur’s Tour – price £25.00 / duration 1 hour 30 minutes

The Master Distiller’s Tour

The Master Distiller’s Tour includes a talk about the rich history of the Distillery, the distillation process and the botanicals that are used.

The master class is a unique opportunity for guests to distil their own gin by selecting their botanicals and creating their own style of gin that is as complex and distinctive as Plymouth Gin.

Tours are subject to availability with a maximum number of 10 people on the Master Distiller’s Tour – price £45.00 / duration 2 hours 30 minutes.
