Gin lovers rejoice, a new Hendricks summer tipple is here and we can’t wait for endless days spent under the sun while sipping on this gem.
Midsummer Solstice is bottled in the familiar Hendrick’s style, but is infused with floral essences and flavours that capture the “aromatic intensity of a midsummer day”.
Hendrick’s Gin are releasing a new expression –Midsummer Solstice– which they say has been inspired by the “mysterious and ephemeral delights” of floral blooms during the summer solstice.
Hendrick’s master distiller, Lesley Gracie’s has created the expression from her “Cabinet of Curiosities, a place of experimental botanic alchemy” at the gin’s £13m Scottish Gin Palace.
Gracie said: “I have always been enamoured by the power of nature’s flavours and aromas at the peak of summer and for this new expression I’ve hand-selected each floral essence to capture this intensity.

Each batch of Hendrick’s Gin is crafted just 500 lovely litres at a time. It is how Hendrick’s Gin started in 1999 and how it will remain and allows Lesley, greater control of her careful artistry.
Midsummer Solstice will launch in the UK in March and is bottled at 43.4% ABV.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for when launch drops as marketing behind it is expected to be a little “extra”.
