The trend for gin ice treats seems nowhere near stopping with the release of a brand new flavour of popsicle that’s just made to be enjoyed under the sun.
Gordon’s gin has teamed up with POPS to create a new gin and lime version of ice lolly which can be found in your nearest Tesco supermarket.
For those wondering if the popsicles include gin, you’ll be happy to know that there is indeed alcohol in this (albeit in a small doses) of 1.5%.
These little beauties include both Gordon’s London Dry Gin, as well as real lime juice, to create a refreshing ice treat in push pop form, so you do have to be over 18 years old to buy them.
If you prefer to get crafty, however, you can actually re-create lollies from the comfort of your own home by following our recipe of the Mojito’s ginny cousin. Make these using a combination of mint, lime, gin and sugar syrup.
There’s also other varieties in the POPS range including Prosecco and Peach Bellini, Watermelon Martini, Frosé and Pimms, as well as fruity, no-alcohol popsicles so perfect for offering to your non-gin loving friends come BBQ season!
The gin and lime flavour popsicles are on sale at Tesco so if you’d like to grab a pack for yourself they retail for £3 (2 x 280 ml).
