If you’ve been keeping up with supermarket giants’ launches in the gin-sphere buckle up because you’re about to find out about another one.
Asda has started selling two new fruit-flavoured gins and they look perfect for drinking as parts of summer G&Ts in the sunshine.
The two new tipples are made by Verano and are inspired by Spanish fruits. They come in a watermelon and lemon flavour – the most refreshing of flavours for the warmer months.
As a serving suggestion you can combine the watermelon flavour with lemonade and the lemon flavour with appletiser for an easy-to-make cocktail.
If you’re a lover of classics however, you can also enjoy these with some tonic for a flavourful twist to a classic G&T.
Ifan Jenkins, from William Grant & Sons makers of Verano said: “we are excited to be launching the brand new Verano Gin range – a premium and accessible gin that is perfect for sharing with friends”.
These launch in-store and online starting June 7 so you’ll have to be a little bit patient until you can get your hands on one (or both) of these bottles.
Nevertheless, if you’re feeling impatient you can try them at 800 Stonegate Bars across the country which includes Slug & Lettuce and Walkabout.
“Inspired by the colourful and relaxed atmosphere of Spain, Verano is perfect for fun, easy summer entertaining” and we can’t argue with that.
Bottles are expected to retail for £23 (per 70 cl bottle) at Asda starting June 7.
