If it’s not delicious gin sorbet making our mouth water, it’s these incredible ice cream gin cocktails from Mackies ice cream parlour in Scotland.
The inventive ice cream parlour, based on Aberdeen’s Marischal Square, is set to host its first cocktail night on Friday 31 May.
Mackies 19.2 will welcome Crackin’ Cocktails to its venue for an evening of creative drinks.
Two cocktails made with Mackie’s ice cream will be on offer for £6 each.
The first is the Frozen White Lady which features classic Edinburgh Gin, Cointreau, freshly squeezed lemon juice, gomme syrup, and a scoop of Mackie’s Lemon Sorbet – it will be served in a Crackin’ Cocktail martini glass.
The Summer Freeze will include Edinburgh Gin’s Rhubarb and Ginger Liquer, a handful of fresh Scottish strawberries, lime juice, rhubarb syrup, and a scoop of Mackie’s Rhubarb and Strawberry ice cream and will come served in a Crackin’ Cocktail hurricane glass.
Cocktails will be served from 5-7.30pm.
