A Stunning Roof Top Japanese Gin Garden Has Just Opened in Manchester

Japanese gin garden

A Japanese gin garden is definitely not something you would normally associate with Manchester. However, the city’s Hotel Gotham has teamed up with Japanese craft gin maker Roku to transform the outdoor terrace of their Club Brass bar into a stunning roof top garden, drenched in all things Japanese.

You’ll be able to escape the city centre chaos and step into a sensory space of oriental tranquility.

Pillars, walls and the ceiling are adorned with Japan’s famous cherry blossom flowers and expect bonzai trees a-plenty.

The furniture also reflects Japan’s sleek and elegant philosophy of simplicity.

This new venture is in line with the rise of other similar dreamy gin gardens that have sprung up across the country.

Hotel Gotham have created a specially designed cocktail menu and nibbles to accompany servings of Roku, the first Japanese gin to hit the UK market last year.

Roku Gin blends six Japanese botanicals with eight traditional botanicals to create a unique gin. Roku smells very sweet and delicate, with cherry blossom and green tea flavours coming to the fore.

You can access this exclusive experience for ÂŁ25 per person (including Roku Gin signature serving).

The dress code is smart casual and only a limited amount of tickets are available, so get in quick for a taste of tranquillity this summer.

Tickets are available now and can be purchased from Eventbrite. The Japanese Gin Garden will be open until 31 August 2019.
