This Remote Scottish Island Contains a Stunning Secluded Gin Hideaway

We all say we’d love to get away at one point or another. But what if getting away meant going to a gin island?

Colonsay is in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland and hosts a secluded house that contains over 200 gins from around the world.

This unique gin tasting experience is available to book as a weekend getaway from Friday to Sunday.

The Gin Island package contains full board for 4 people, breakfast and a buffet or picnic style lunch, dinner on Friday and Saturday, as well as an early evening supper served on Sunday night prior to ferry departure.

Drinks-wise, you can expect a two gin cocktail pre-dinner drinks per person on Friday night, plus a pre-dinner five gin tasting per person on Saturday night.

The accommodation consists of two double rooms each with its own shower room. They are able to cater for four singles, but you must contact to arrange this.

There is a guest sitting room and dining room where there are facilities for tea and coffee, as well as music, TV, reading, jigsaws and board games.

Gin experiences don’t get any better than this. And if you can drag yourself away from your luxury gin house then what awaits outside is spectacular.
