Edinburgh Gin Have a New Watermelon and Lime Gin and Here’s Where You Can Pick It Up

It’s no secret watermelon gin is taking off in a big way this summer and here’s one more addition to the trend to make your mouth water.

Watermelon and Lime Gin is the latest flavour to emerge from the Scottish distillers Edinburgh Gin, but there’s a catch – it’s not available to buy in the usual drink retailers.

Interestingly, this gin is only available to buy exclusively in person in Dufry stores. And if you’re vaguely familiar with that name it’s because it’s owner of the World Duty-Free shops in airports.

Dufry Liquor Category Manager Matt Scott-Fairweather said of the Watermelon and Lime expression: “Edinburgh Gin is an iconic brand and as part of this new agreement we are thrilled to offer consumers an exclusive new flavour, which tastes absolutely superb and will only be available in Dufry stores.”

If you are lucky enough to be going on holiday this summer you can pick up a bottle of the elusive hefty 1 litre gin in major airports across the UK and Europe.

To make sure you get your bottle you can reserve online from the World Duty Free website. This is particularly handy if you are tight on time between flights.

Edinburgh Watermelon and Lime Gin could just be the perfect summer drink. The fresh, bright watermelon notes provide a fruity sweetness that’s met with a sharp bite of tartness from the lime.

Edinburgh Gin Watermelon and Lime, 1 litre, 40% ABV is available to buy in World Duty Free stores in major airports across the UK and Europe and available to reserve online.
