Marks & Spencer is royally treating gin-loving tennis fans this year with the release of a limited edition Pink Gin Cream.
The pink gin-flavoured cream has been launched to coincide with the start of Wimbledon – an event synonymous with strawberries and cream
Described as “Delicious extra-thick cream infused with pink gin and a little raspberry for a blush colour and light berry flavour,” the recipe is blended with the brand’s best-selling Think Pink Gin.
The ace new invention from M&S will cost £3.50 for a 200g tub and is sure to be popular as the tennis tournament heats up so, if it appeals, get yours quick.
During the Championship the company is expecting to sell-out of their new cream and to sell around 12 million individual strawberries.
M&S Dairy Product Developer Rosie While said: “Our Pink Gin Cream is set to be a game-changer this summer. Our customers love gin in everything so we couldn’t resist adding their favourite tipple to our extra-special cream just in time for Wimbledon.”
M&S, keenly aware of their gin-enthusiast customers, is also launching a brand new gin-based drink – Ginking Rosé.
The pink alcoholic beverage is a combination of gin and sparkling rosé wine and a bottle costs £13.
