It’s that time of year to think seriously about summer holidays. After all the stress of planning and getting to the airport and checked in there’s nothing better than a relaxing drink on the flight to ease the tension and begin the holiday properly.
The Carry on Cocktail Kit will help you do this in style. It provides the ingredients and tools needed to mix two proper cocktails at 30,000 feet.
This is good news because we all know the chances of getting a decent cocktail on a plane are about as good as having your flight leave on time.
The Carry On Cocktail Kit contains a bottle of craft tonic syrup that beats the quality of canned versions. It also comes with a 1/2oz jiggler, a bar spoon, a linen coaster and a recipe card.
We reckon you’ll be quite the envy of other passengers when they see you pulling out this classy G&T kit.
The alcohol is not included in the kit because, although it is legal to bring alcohol in hand luggage so long as it’s in bottles under 100ml, you aren’t legally allowed to drink it.
FAA regulations state that “No person may drink any alcoholic beverage aboard an aircraft unless the certificate holder operating the aircraft has served that beverage.”
So the best we can do is get the finest non-alcoholic ingredients of our G&T ready and request some gin from the flight attendant’s bar cart.
We can’t think of a more stylish way to start your holiday.
The Carry On Cocktail Kit is available from Amazon, priced at £25. Images from Shutterstock and Amazon.
