There’s nothing like a unique cocktail mix to get in the spirit of summer and one bar has truly upped the ante by creating the ultimate gin slushie -in a bucket!
The Boozy Cow, based in Dundee, Scotland, has decided to celebrate Scottish culture by bringing out a boozy bucket trail slushie each week for the next two months.
Each will be inspired by different statues depicting famous comic character Oor Wullie, as part of Oor Wullie’s Big Bucket Trail, a charitable family fun trail currently going on in various locations around Scotland.
This week, it’s a pink gin inspired bucket slushie consisting of pink gin, strawberry and lime cider and a dollop of jam to mark the city’s famous legacy of jute, jam and journalism.
❗️OOR BOOZY’s BUCKET TRAIL ❗️’Oor Wullie’s’ bucket trail has arrived back to the streets of Scotland for 2019…
Running for 11 weeks from 17 June – 30 August, Oor Wullie’s Big Bucket Trail is a public art trail on the streets of Scotland, featuring 200 themed statues of the comic strip character, who is something of a cultural icon.
The idea of the Big Bucket Trail is to see if you can find them all and tick them off the list, not to mention taking a cheeky snap next to one!
Funds raised through the trail then go on to help support children in hospitals across the country.
Good news is there’s still time to take part, while the offer of a quirky gin slushie to cool down afterwards can only make that more tempting!
