Level 40 of London’s Gherkin Has Been Transformed into a Gin Garden Paradise

London has no shortage of rooftop gin bars in which to escape the madness of the city, but this one, despite not being a rooftop bar, may still top the lot.

A fabulous oasis of gin and greenery is being brought to London’s iconic Gherkin for six weeks this summer.

A pop-up gin-garden style bar by The Glasshouse will take over the skyscraper’s Iris Bar on level 40, from 15th July to 1st September.

It promises to be an amazing summer botanical experience that brings nature to life in the heart of the city while you sip the finest gins.

Guests can enjoy a botanical gin cocktail menu, a seasonal food menu and live entertainment.

An exclusive menu of botanical gin-inspired cocktails will be available.

You can sip on the iconic Gherkin Spritz, which contains Beefeater Gin, Perrier Jouet champagne, pickle gherkin juice and elderflower essence.

There are three other cocktails including London Fields, Primrose Cottage, Orchard House, not to mention 9 gin brands for a simple G&T.

You can experiment with your gin & tonic, with garnishes and tonics that have been expertly curated by resident mixologists.

This oasis of gin, ivy and greenery sounds like the perfect summer bar in which to sip summer cocktails and watch the sun set over the Thames.

You can make a reservation at the Iris Bar website.
