This Gorgeous New ‘Light’ Mixer Range from Fentimans Reduces Calorie Intake

Fentimans light range

Botanical soft drink maker Fentimans is launching a new ‘light’ soft drink range, designed to meet the needs of a growing number of people who want to reduce calorie intake but still enjoy a full flavour.

If you ever wondered how to have fewer calories in your G&T without compromising on flavour then this new range may just be the answer.

Tonic or mixer for gin usually contains more calories than the gin itself so if you are calorie counting it makes sense to choose your mixer wisely.

Each drink in the new Fentimans light range contains less than 60 calories per bottle, whilst sugar has been reduced to 4.8g per 100ml. The new recipe contains no artificial sweeteners.

Fentimans have chosen three of their top selling flavours to include in the new range and claim to have crafted the recipe to be lower in calories without comprising the classic Fentimans flavour.

The light range includes lower calorie versions of their Rose Lemonade, Gently Sparkling Elderflower and Sparkling Raspberry flavours.

The drinks have been created by adopting the same botanical brewing method Fentimans have been using for over 100 years. Milled ginger root and selected botanicals are fermented for seven days.

Fentimans Marketing Director, Andrew Jackson said: “We know that a growing number of our audience are increasingly looking for great tasting light drinks with fewer calories. We have worked long and hard on the new recipes to ensure we can deliver a lighter option of our classic drinks, with absolutely no compromise on flavour.”

The new Fentimans light range will be launched soon in the form of a 250ml glass bottle, available in both single and 4 pack formats from leading retailers.
