With summer in full swing, there’s never been a more exciting time to enjoy a glamorous gin picnic on the grounds of a stunning country house estate.
Taking place on the evenings of the weekend of August 3 and 4, visitors to Staffordshire’s Himley Hall will be able to sip gin and tonic while enjoying the gorgeous views of the grounds.
Situated in Staffordshire, England, Himley Hall is an 18th-century building surrounded by 180 acres of picturesque land. Once a venue for high society to mingle, the gin picnic is one of special occasions the country house offers.
You’ll be given a picnic box filled with locally sourced food, a rug to relax on, a cool bag to take home the leftovers, and plenty of G&Ts of course, in addition to entertaining live music from singer Miss Fortune.
The event will run from 5pm to 9pm both days, with a bunting-lined marqueee on hand for shelter if the weather takes a turn for the worst.
All of this is included in the ticket price of £45, which you can purchase on the day.
We expect the dress code to be casual but there’s always embracing your inner Lady Rose and sipping on a little Downton Abbey Gin beforehand to get in the spirit!
The Himley Hall Gin Picnic is located at Himley Park, Dudley, Staffordshire, DY3 4DF.
