Wetherspoon is celebrating all things gin in their summer 2019 gin festival which will last a mega 17 days.
Starting on 16 August the pub chain will showcase up to 13 gins made in the UK and overseas.
In addition to the many gins listed on the menu, this festival will feature several not previously served in Wetherspoon pubs.
The line-up includes flavoured gins such as the brand-new Edinburgh Gin Lemon & Jasmine, Kopparberg Strawberry & Lime and Aber Falls Orange & Marmalade Gin.
Limited edition British gins such as Hendrick’s Midsummer Solstice and Bombay Sapphire English Estate will also be available.
Those who like tropical flavours are in for a treat. Eden Mill Love Mango & Pineapple, Boë Peach & Hibiscus and Jawbox Pineapple & Ginger are all on the menu.
The gins will range in price from £2.60 to £5.05 (single measure), served in a Copa de Balon glass and will include a free mixer.
There should be tonics for all tastes and enough options to allow you to try a new pairing if you feel like it.
Along with conventional tonics there will be three flavoured tonics from Fentimans: Elderflower, Valencian orange and Pink Grapefruit plus other mixer options such as ginger ale and lemonade.
Tasting notes on all of the gins plus guidance on the best mixers for each gin will be available in the pubs on request.
The Wetherspoon Gin Festival 2019 begins August 16 at participating pubs across the UK.
