Drinking alcohol on any public transport in London is strictly forbidden – except one. The London Bar Bus is a functioning tour bus that has its upper deck transformed into a gin drinking paradise.
There are no shortage of London rooftop bars, some with stunning iconic views, but one thing they can’t compete with is an iconic view that moves from one landmark to the next.
The bus has “industrial-chic-meets-seasonal-floral interiors” and dreamy gin garden experiences don’t get much more cool than this.
Boasting a 44-seat mobile rooftop garden decked out with festival-style lighting and leather booth seating, the London Bar Bus has a roof terrace like no other as it takes you past London’s magnificent sights while relaxing with a few G&Ts.
The 90 minute tour of London will take in sights such as the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Parliament Square, St Paul’s, Tower Bridge & Piccadilly Circus.
You’ll also have a tour guide on hand, so if you want some recommendations for the best London gin bars, just ask!
If you are looking for a unique London gin experience this sounds like just the ticket, and will almost certainly be the most fun you will ever have on a bus!
Tickets are between £15-25. Check the London Bar Bus Original Tour website for start times and departure points.
