Rock Rose Just Dropped a Honey, Apricot & Butterscotch Gin

Rock Rose Reserve

Dunnet Bay Distillers have released Rock Rose Reserve Sauternes Cask Edition, presented in a gorgeous wrap around box.

The limited edition gin has been influenced by the white wine Sauternes to give a hint of sweetness not normally present in Rock Rose Gin.

Original Edition Rock Rose Gin was aged in casks that were used in the production of the wine, resting in the barrel for nearly six months to produce Sauternes Cask Edition.

The flavoursome wine complements the original recipe gin and brings with it complex notes of honey, apricot and butterscotch. The result is a lovely golden coloured spirit packed with flavour and a hint of sweetness.

If this sounds utterly delightful to you like it does to us then you’re going to have to be quick if you want to own one. Dunnet Bay Distillers made only 380 bottles of these gems.

They went on sale at midnight on August 21 and there is an indicator on the website to show how many bottles are left from the batch. At the time of writing well over half the batch was still available.

The Rock Rose signature bottle artwork has been beautifully redesigned using golden hues to complement the liquid colour. The bottle has been sealed and dressed with a hessian cover before being carefully presented in a circular wrap around wooden box.

Rock Rose Reserve Sauternes Cask Edition (70cl) 41.5% ABV is available to buy from the Dunnet Bay Distillers online shop for £55.
