If you’re looking to squeeze the last drops out of summer then Edinburgh Gin have launched a pop-up coastal-themed terrace in the heart of London.
It’s called the Edinburgh Gin Seaside Terrace and it’s been created in partnership with OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie.
The restaurant’s terrace has been transformed into a stripy seaside theme – a nod to nostalgic seaside holidays.
The terrace is inspired by Edinburgh Gin Seaside, the award-winning gin which uses coastal botanicals such as ground ivy and scurvygrass, last seen in a pop-up beach bar at the Edinburgh Fringe.
There are plenty of stunning London rooftop gin bars but the Seaside Terrace gives a fresh perspective of London, situated on the riverside, looking down on the Thames.
Running for six weeks, the terrace includes a bespoke cocktail menu curated in collaboration with Edinburgh Gin and OXO Tower’s renowned mixology team.
Cocktails made using Edinburgh Gin Seaside and other gins from the range include a Seaside Spritz, a Scottish Negroni and Edinburgh Gin’s signature serves. Guests can also enjoy a coastal inspired bar snacks menu.
Neil Mowat, UK Marketing Director of Ian Macleod Distillers said: “Seaside has formed the inspiration for the terrace and has resulted in an inspired cocktail selection that gives OXO Tower’s guests the chance to experience Edinburgh Gin on the famous banks of the Thames River.”
The Edinburgh Gin Terrace is open now until Sunday, 6 October. For more information and to book a table check the Harvey Nichols website.
