Warner’s say their Christmas Cake Gin is inspired by their mum’s traditional homemade Christmas cake.
It’s infused with dried orange, nutmeg, grapefruit peel, cinnamon and gin-soaked cherries and hand-picked sloe berries, with a splash of cherry-flavoured gin added at the last minute.
The ingredients sound so tasty we could do with getting the full recipe for the Christmas cake from Warners’ mum to nibble alongside the gin.
Warner’s craft all their gins with care at Falls Farm using water from their own spring, making sure to re-sow and re-plant, giving back to the nature which provides the ingredients of their gins.
Christmas Cake Gin has flavour notes of silky chocolate, festive spice and sweet cherry and is distilled in small batches.
It’s also a limited edition gin made specifically for the festive period so you might have to be quick to get your hands on this one.
Warner’s recommend the perfect serve as mixed with with Fever-Tree Madagascan Cola, garnished with a slice of fresh orange.
We can’t wait to try this well balanced sweet and spicy perfect serve. A pudding may not be required after Christmas dinner this year with a glass of this in hand.
Warner’s Christmas Cake Gin (70cl) 40% ABV, is available to buy from the Warner’s Distillery website, priced at £40.
