Edinburgh Gin are feeling festive and they’ve decided to share the Christmas love so we can all get in the spirit too.
They have released three brand-new seasonal liqueurs: Mulled Gin, Blackcurrant & Anise and Strawberry & Pink Peppercorn.
Mulled Gin is a rich liqueur, inspired by a festive favourite and sounds like an essential addition to your Christmas drinks cabinet.
To use it to make hot gin cocktails just add Edinburgh Gin’s Mulled Gin liqueur to red wine and gently warm in a pan for a subtly spiced and aromatic hot drink.
Edinburgh gin also recommend trying it with Cointreau and sparkling wine in a Mulled Gin Bellini. Sounds like a fab Christmas gin cocktail to us.
Blackcurrant & Anise is made for liquorice lovers. This luxurious liqueur pairs rich blackcurrant with aromatic anise. On the palate, the surprisingly tart blackcurrant sweetness blends perfectly with a deep, warm aniseed finish.
Strawberry & Pink Peppercorn delivers delicious sweetness on the nose followed by a soft trace of pepper. To taste, expect sweet candied fruit followed a warming heat from the pink peppercorns.
Enjoy it neat over ice or topped with sparkling wine. It also makes for a refreshing long cocktail, muddled with fresh basil leaves and topped with soda.
