Cambridge Gage Gin Liqueur Is a Sweet Winter Warmer

Cambridge Gage Gin Liqueur
Cambridge Gage is a member of the plum family noted for its sweet honey taste. So it’s a perfect ingredient for a gin liqueur as the colder darker nights start to dominate.

Hedgepig make Cambridge Gage, a full-flavoured fruit gin liqueur which is sweet tasting and warming.

Cambridge Gage is one of the most popular greengage trees, which are are said to descend from plants imported into England from France in 1724 by Sir William Gage of Bury St Edmunds.

Delicious served over ice, it accompanies cheese particularly well – the perfect after-dinner winter dessert pairing.

All Hedgepig fruit gin liqueurs are made with no added sugar which is always a good thing.

Hedgepig, as you may have guessed from the name, are passionate about supporting the plight of hedgehogs and they support the work of the the British Hedgehog Preservation Society.

They will donate 50p per bottle sold towards the society, meaning you can drink gin and help boost the declining numbers of hedgehogs.

Hedgepig suggest a perfect serve of 50ml Cambridge Gage in a tall, ice-filled glass mixed with Fever Tree Spiced Orange Ginger Ale, garnished with a lemon wedge.

Cambridge Gage Gin Liqueur (28% ABV) is available to buy from the Gin Kin Shop, priced at £16 for a 20cl bottle and £32 for a 50cl bottle.
