London based gin makers Sipsmith have pulled out all the stops to create a delicious summer treat.
They’ve paired their Sipsmith London Dry gin with Häagen-Dazs Salted Caramel Ice Cream to make a creamy cocktail that will cool you down whatever the weather. They’ve even sprinkled a llittle grated chocolate on top for good measure.
The ice cream concoction is called a Caramel Royale and it’s been created to coincide with a screening of the James Bond film Casino Royale for Häagen-Dazs’ Secret Sofa event.
Secret Sofa is a weekly online event where Secret Cinema and Haagen-Dazs team up to invite viewers to create their own immersive cinema experiences in their living rooms alongside a weekly film screening.

How to Make a Caramel Royale
- 50ml Sipsmith London Dry Gin
- 2 large scoops of Häagen-Dazs Salted Caramel Ice Cream
- Grated chocolate
- Shake the gin and ice cream together, then pour into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with grated chocolate.
