Limoncello is the second most popular liqueur in Italy after Campari. It’s mainly produced in southern Italy and is becoming ever more fashionable outside of Italy.

Countries such as United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand are increasingly embracing the lemon liqueur, with restaurants typically serving it as an after dinner ‘digestivo’.

The reason for its increasing popularity is because, simply, it’s absolutely delicious and like other delicious drinks it was only a matter of time before someone thought to make a gin and limoncello cocktail.

No need to wait until after dinner to have this refreshing drink – during dinner or even before is always a perfect time to sip this citrus sensation.
